A little behind but a quick update!

I have several more sessions to blog, I’ve gotten a bit behind while working on cards & albums for the Holidays. I know most everyone follows me on Facebook but just in case I wanted to make sure you all have an update.

At this time, I have availability for 2 full sessions on Thanksgiving weekend. One Saturday & one Sunday. No cards may be ordered from these sessions however you may buy digital files. My availability for December is limited to maternity & newborns in studio and a few on-location “Home for the Holidays” sessions for extended families. Details on the “Home for the Holidays” sessions will be available soon.

Also, keep in mind that prices, packages, and plans will all be changing in 2011. If you know you need a session in either January or February you may lock in the current rates with a paid $75 session fee.

Mr. L is 2 - Woodbridge Children's Photographer

I missed blogging this one last week so I thought I'd do a quick blog post today.

This is Mr. L, a super fun 2 year old who was lucky enough to find his forever family last year through international adoption. His mom and I used to work together and when I learned about their journey I spent an entire evening reading their blog. They have recently moved back to the area and I was so happy to do this session for them.

With tomorrow being Veteran's Day I also wanted to take the opportunity to say a huge Thank You to his dad who is currently serving in the US Coast Guard.

A few gray hairs - Woodbridge Family Photography

This is a session I'll certainly never forget. For the first time in 8 years of using an SLR camera, I had a card become corrupted. I knew there were gorgeous images on it so after over 2 hours, 2 recovery programs, and a lot of worry I was able to recover the files. Needless to say, I highly recommend CardRecovery.com if you are ever stuck with files that won't open.

And, now, on a much brighter side, the M family. They are new to our neighborhood and a super sweet family. I can't share on Facebook because they are surprising the grandparents but I think it will be safe to post just one here. I'm sure you can see why I was just sick about the corrupted card. I knew their images were gorgeous!
